From our founder
I'm Melanie, the founder of Petite Carlota. Some of my earliest memories revolve around a floral pink dress my father brought back from Spain—hand-smocked, beautifully crafted, and unlike anything else. It became my most cherished piece and sparked my love for timeless design and thoughtful details.
After eight years in New York and preparing to grow my family, I wanted children’s clothing that reflected the same European craftsmanship, with fabrics and details as beautiful as the moments they’re made for. When I couldn’t find it, I created it myself.
Petite Carlota is a collection of timeless designs handcrafted by family-owned ateliers in Spain. Every piece is made with custom fabrics, thoughtful details, and a whole lot of love—just like the care you put into raising your little ones.
